There's many valid reasons why you - as an educator - should be interested in using video as part of your teaching or training process. This article highlights a few of these reasons.

Why Bother With Video?
Edgar Dale was an american educationalist - a major contributor to the study of educational communications.

He developed the famous "Cone of Learning" (displayed below). From it we can see that he suggested that after two weeks we tend to remember 50% of what we HEAR and SEE highlighting "watching a movie" as an example process.
